Terms & Conditions

1. Payments

Residential Training

• A £500 deposit is required to secure your dog’s start date.
• Remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the dog arrives.

1-to-1 Training

• A £250 deposit is required to secure a 1-to-1 training package booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid before the first lesson.
• Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

2. Owner Responsibilities

• Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea/worming, and be in suitable health to train.
• All behavioural issues must be disclosed prior to booking.
• Owners must follow aftercare instructions to maintain training results.

3. Training Expectations

• Training results vary depending on the dog’s temperament, genetics, age, environment, and owner consistency.
• The Trainer does not guarantee specific behavioural outcomes.
• Continued practice by the owner is required for long-term success.

4. Veterinary Care & Medical Costs

• The Trainer will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every dog.

Accidents in the Trainer’s Care

• If a dog is injured due to an accident or incident occurring while in the Trainer’s care — including injuries caused by the dog itself through normal movement or rough play — this will be handled under the Trainer’s public liability insurance (subject to policy terms).

Illnesses Not Related to Training

The owner is responsible for all veterinary costs relating to illnesses or conditions not caused by a training-related accident, including but not limited to:

• Eye/ear infections
• Stomach upset, diarrhoea, vomiting
• Allergic reactions
• Skin issues (e.g., hot spots)
• Pre-existing or underlying conditions
• Illnesses arising naturally during the stay

Emergency Treatment

• Veterinary attention will be sought promptly where necessary.
• Owners will be contacted as soon as possible, but treatment will not be delayed if urgent.
• Owners agree to reimburse the Trainer for vet costs unless the issue resulted directly from an accident in the Trainer’s care.

5. Liability

• The owner remains legally responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times.
• The Trainer is not liable for damage or injury caused by the dog during or after training.
• The Trainer may terminate training if the dog poses a safety risk.

6. Media Use

• Photos/videos taken during training may be used for social media, marketing and educational content unless the owner opts out in writing.

7. Business Identity

Naughty Dog Training is operated by sole trader Dalia Michalowska.
All payments are processed under this name.

8. Cancellation & Refunds - Residential Training

Deposits

• A deposit of £500 is required to secure a place on any residential training programme.
• The deposit is refundable if the client cancels more than 30 days prior to the scheduled start date.
• The deposit becomes non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 30 days of the start date.

Programme Fees

• The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days before the dog arrives for training.
• If the client cancels within 7 days of the start date after having paid the full balance, the Trainer reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the total programme fee to cover loss of booking.

Trainer Cancellations

• If the Trainer cancels the booking for any reason, the client will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer the booking to a new date.

9. Cancellation & Refunds - 1-to-1 Training

Deposits

• A deposit of £250 is required to secure a 1-to-1 training package booking.
• The booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• The deposit is non-refundable once a booking date has been agreed, unless the Trainer cancels.

Refunds

• Once the first training session has taken place, the training package becomes non-refundable.
• No refunds will be issued for unused lessons.

Rescheduling

• Sessions may be rescheduled by the client only when more than 24 hours’ notice is provided.
• If the client provides less than 24 hours’ notice, the session will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Package Expiry Timeframes

To ensure training consistency and progress, all lessons within a package must be used within a set timeframe:

• The 5-Lesson Training Package must be completed within 7 weeks of the date of the first scheduled session.
• The 10-Lesson Training Package must be completed within 12 weeks of the date of the first scheduled session.
• Any lessons not used within these timeframes will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued for unused or expired lessons.

10. Cancellation & Refunds - Digital Products

• All digital products, including downloads and online training materials, are non-refundable. Access is granted immediately upon payment, and therefore refunds cannot be provided.

11. Amendments to This Policy

• Naughty Dog Training reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on the official website. Clients are encouraged to review the policy prior to booking.
